I’m not your average “soccer mom”… Yes, I’m married with two kids. Yes, I love my family. But I’m also in love with the beautiful game of football. I was bitten by the “bug” only about a year and half ago, but my life has changed significantly because of it. I dedicate my weekends (and mid-weeks during Champions League matches) to watching football as much as possible. I read blogs, surf tumblr (ok, yes, I admit it!), chat online with other fans, follow teams and players on Facebook and twitter… I’m somewhat of a neutral observer although I have some favorite teams and players that I watch religiously. You’ll learn soon enough who they are… But in an attempt to create an open-minded community of football-lovers such as myself, I will try to cover a wide range of teams and players (mostly La Liga, Bundesliga, and EPL related).
I created this blog to be more like a journal as I navigate this exciting world of football. You won’t find analysis per say, or the latest news, or even your typical fan-girl material… But rather, you’ll find a place to read and discuss the emotional impact of being a football fan, the joys, the sorrows, the angst that comes after a fantastic or horrible match. It’s also a place created to spark conversation, challenge beliefs, or simply chat about life… I encourage opinions, but also hope to keep things fun and light-hearted, as well as respectful for all those that choose to participate.
Finally, I am likely to bring up topics unrelated to football if the mood strikes me… music, travel, fitness, food, kids and family life, and basically anything else life throws at me! I hope you’ll join me on this journey through my crazy football-lovin’ life!
For a more thorough introduction to me and my story I suggest you read my first two posts. Welcome to Crazy (Part 1: The Before) and Welcome to Crazy (Part 2: The After). Comments are worth their weight in gold, so please comment if you feel so inclined. 🙂
